Impostor is a Friday Night Funkin' modification created by Clowfoe, directed by the IMPOSTORM Team and part of the Innersloth staff, revolving around the popular smash hit 2018 indie video game, Among Us. The mod contains numerous references to not only the game itself, but also several other variants from the community of the game

Friday Night Funkin' is an open-source[2] rhythm game first released as a demo in 2020 for a game jam.[3] The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., with the four founding members being the Newgrounds users Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[4] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.
