Good: TINWOO T20 Smartwatch uses a proprietary charger which I hate however it also supports Qi wireless charging so you can simply place the watch on a wireless charger that you would use for a phone or earbuds and your watch will charge, it’s actually pretty genius and I don’t know why all smart watches don’t have this exact feature it would make it so much nicer than having to rely on a proprietary charger alone.
Good: The watch looks good it’s big enough that it looks and feels substantial yet it’s not so big that it’s obnoxious like some other Smartwatches. It also has a very nice touchscreen that is very responsive.
Good: There are multiple watch faces available on the TINWOO Smartwatch and you can set one that you like or set the faces to rotate so you are never bored looking at the same watch face all the time.
Good: You get all of the basic health and fitness tracking that you would expect from a Smartwatch like a daily step counter, activity tracker for different types of activities like walking, running cycling even badminton and ping pong. You also get 24/7 heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking.
Good: Battery life, the TINWOO T20 gives you up to 20 days of standby and up to 15 days of usage. This means no more daily charging like you have to do with the Apple Watch.
Bad: Phone Calls: The watch is missing some vital Smartwatch features like you can’t answer or initiate phone calls from the watch. Even my fitness watches let me answer or reject calls from my watch so this missing feature was really disappointing. Even if I can’t talk through the watch they could have at least let me answer or reject calls from the watch.
Bad: This one is a bit of a deal breaker for me for a Smartwatch and that is there is no personal assistant on the watch like Siri, Alexa or Google so I can’t do things like quickly ask the watch to set a timer or start and activity. I love having that feature on other watches because if I am cooking and have grease or flour on my hands it’s nice to be able to verbally ask my watch to set a timer or ask the watch what temperature I should set the oven for baking Snicker-doodles. A personal assistant is a feature that I think all Smartwatches should have otherwise it just doesn’t feel very smart to me.
Finally, I will say the TINWOO Smartwatch is a really nice looking and functional Smartwatch and even though it’s lacking some features, at the price of only $47 at the time of this review I think it’s more than worth it as long as you can live without those missing features.
