It hasn't snowed for a few weeks here in the Truckee/Tahoe area so the snow has packed in and remained shallow on the trails. Conditions are perfect to answer the question: "Can you ride an eMtb in the snow?". And, maybe more importantly, "How much fun is it...?"

I tested out the bike with slightly used WTB tires (Judge and Vigilante) made for trail mountain biking. These are not fat tires made for the snow. If you regularly ride single track, enduro, downhill, or trail rides in the mountains watch this and consider trying your favorite trail in the winter when there is snow.

I post trail explorations and related reviews weekly highlighting the trail and/or what I'm using to explore; mostly with bikes but also by foot, ski's and more.
