We have entered into another year—2026—and before we rush into goals, resolutions, and plans, we pause to give God praise. Praise God we survived 2025. Some names didn’t make the rollover, some voices went silent, some seats are now empty—but by the grace of God, we’re still here. Survival itself is a testimony. Every breath you take this morning is evidence that God still has purpose for your life.

Now let me be clear—just because we survived doesn’t mean life won’t still life. Grief has already knocked on some of our doors. Challenges didn’t wait for January to be kind. But here’s the shout: this can still be a great year. Not because trouble won’t come, but because God has promised to be with us through it all. And when God is with you, nothing you face has the final word.

I believe—no, I declare—that God is up to something in 2026. Something supernatural. Something different in our lives, our families, and our church. But the supernatural doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when God’s people make up their minds to be fully committed—not halfway in, not casually connected, but all in.

To be fully committed means no half-stepping. No starting and stopping. No treating ministry like a hobby instead of a calling. When life gets hard, we don’t quit—we cling. We don’t back up—we press forward. We don’t fall apart—we fall on our knees. This year, we’re choosing commitment over convenience.

Application:
Start this year by naming one area where you’re choosing commitment over comfort—your prayer life, your worship, your service, or your obedience. Write it down. Pray over it. Commit to it.

Prayer:
God, thank You for keeping us and carrying us into this new year. Help us not to waste survival, but to turn it into surrender. Strengthen our commitment, deepen our faith, and help us trust You with whatever this year brings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
