It's finally time for the first boss. Now, it might be a bit tricky to find out what you need to do, so I'll try and explain a bit.

First, when he tries to grab your sword, you need to do feint attack, which means that you need to hold your sword either horisontally or vertically, and then slash in the other direction.
For example, if you're holding your sword to the left or right, you'll need to slash either up or down, and the same goes for when holding your sword up or down, just slash to the left or right and he'll be down in no time.

Other than that, it should be pretty easy after that, you'll see when you can slash him.

There are more things you can do which I didn't, due to the fear of losing to much life, such as shield-bashing Ghirahim when he comes charging towards you, or return his ranged attacks.
