Hi everyone, I needed 21 and a half additional days of speedups to complete the final step of Helios Lancer research in the War Academy, which needed 47 days in total, so I went to Mia’s Fortune Hut to look for some speedups.

I have 53 days now after meeting Mia, but I cannot find a good event to spend the speedups, so the Helios Lancer research is still going on in the War Academy. Perhaps I will use them in King of Icefield. The mukbang for Helios Lancer War Academy training has already been recorded, except this last step.

Before I start, let me discuss the mathematics behind Mia’s Fortune Hut. I will also present a summary table of this mukbang session, made using a spreadsheet made using Excel. If you are not interested, please skip forward to the animation and gameplay, see the bookmark in the video description.

In Mia’s Fortune Hut, Fortune Tokens are needed to open orbs, and the number of Fortune Tokens required increases in subsequent orbs, within the same round. One can obtain 22 Fortune Tokens from Daily Tasks, with one free from the Shop tab, making the total one can get up to 23 Fortune Tokens daily, without packs.

The first orb only costs 1 Fortune Token, and the cost increases up to 25 Fortune Tokens (FTs) for the last or tenth orb. Specifically:

First Orb – 1 FT
Second Orb – 2 FTs
Third Orb – 3 FTs
Fourth Orb – 4 FTs
Fifth Orb – 6 FTs
Sixth Orb – 8 FTs
Seventh Orb – 12 FTs
Eighth Orb – 15 FTs
Ninth Orb – 20 FTs
Tenth Orb – 25 FTs

There are many online guides that state that the Fifth Orb requires 5 Fortune Tokens, including the wiki and websites that copied from the wiki. This is incorrect, as you can see from the video, and my summary table. You can watch the video at reduced speed as well, to verify for yourself.

Thus, a complete set of 10 orbs will cost 96 Fortune Tokens. The more orbs you open, the more Fortune Tokens you have to spend. You can also stop a round at any time but you will need tokens to reset the round. I did not do that, because the Reward Wish is definitely in one of the remaining orbs, and as one gets closer to the 10th orb, one gets closer to the Reward Wish. If you receive your selected reward wish on your first try, you only spend one fortune token to get your Reward Wish.

Overall, I completed 17 rounds and 2 partial rounds, one at the start and one at the end, using 1240 Reward Tokens, with the addition of 5 Tokens and 12 Tokens from Fortune Rewards, after Round 6.

I received 4 double helpings of the Reward Wish, due to the 2-times multipliers occurring just before the Reward Wish, leading to a total of 21 helpings of the Reward Wish in this session which is under 10 minutes. I chose Reward Wishes of speedups until I had enough to complete Helios Lancer training in the War Academy, the rest were fire crystals in preparation for Fire Crystal 8 building construction.

In Round 5, I received a 5-times multiplier and a 2-times multiplier consecutively. These stack by addition, to become a 7-time multiplier, so I could have gotten the Reward Wish multiplied by 7, which would have been 22 days. However, I received 14 Charm Designs instead. I have done Mia’s Fortune Hut a number of times before, and rarely had a 2-times multiplier appear immediately after a 5-times multiplier, so that alone is quite a rare event. I am glad to have it captured on video to show you.

Please note when 5-times and 2-times multipliers are found consecutively, they stack by addition and become 7-times. They do not stack by multiplication to become 10-times. I think the maximum you can get by stacking is 7-times, unless you get two 5-times multiplier orbs in a single round, which would theoretically add to a 10-time multiplier. I have not come across that combination in a single round, or more than 2 multipliers in a single round, although such rounds may exist, theoretically, I do not know.

You can factor this data point, regarding multipliers being added instead of being multiplied, as mentioned, captured on video, into your consideration when you decide how far you want to go when you take part in this event. Nonetheless, I am fortunate I did not receive 700 thousand coal or 700 gems, but instead 14 Charm Designs, which are worth more than that.

With 1257 Fortune Tokens, 17 completed rounds and 2 partial rounds, I spent approximately 1257 divided by 18, or 70 Tokens per Round, which is roughly 9 orbs per round.

After this mukbang, I thought I could still get some Fortune Tokens via Daily Tasks, without realizing I had already obtained the maximum completed the daily tasks already. So, please sit back and just enjoy the sped-up animations of the Supreme President’s ride, the Phlegon Airship, as it sails serenely across the tundra to hunt chameleons. There are no further rounds of Mia’s Fortune Hut after that.
