Inline 3 Cylinder Engine - Explained

Описание к видео Inline 3 Cylinder Engine - Explained

The inline 3 cylinder engine is similar to an inline 6, but cut in half. I3's make a good choice for small, compact, and cost-effective engines producing good fuel economy. The primary and secondary forces are balanced (vertically), though unlike an I6 there is a rocking moment front to back on the engine, as there is a plane imbalance. These engine are becoming more popular with demand for greater fuel economy rising. They've also seen some use with modern sports/race cars, used in the Nissan ZEOD RC as well as the BMW i8.
