A Sneak Peek Into The Old Stone Mill, Delta, Ontario

The Old Stone Mill in Delta, Ontario was where The Wandering Shepherds of Ewetopia Farms visited on a country drive and road trip around our area of Eastern Ontario as we continue to explore Ontario on our days away from our sheep farm. It is technically offseason and yet as we wandered around the old grist mill, we managed to meet some of the volunteers who were doing maintenance work on the mill and offered to give us a quick but well appreciated sneak peak into the old stone building and actually also gave us a little talk about the mill and its history. This heritage site is run totally with the help from volunteers in the local community without any government support, so drop by between May long weekend and Thanksgiving if you are in the area, and show them your support while benefitting from a beautiful look back in time at how many of the old small towns and mills in Ontario operated and became successful.
