At Craney Hill Kennel, we have over 20 years of experience with gun dogs and specifically English Springer Spaniels and English Cocker Spaniels. If upland hunting is your goal, we have developed a large number of dogs for owners that hunt the woodlands for grouse, the prairies for pheasant, the canyons for chukar and quail and numerous spaniels that act as non-slip retrievers.

The objectives for our Basic Gun Dog Training are to set a strong foundation for your dog, which includes proper introduction and exposure to birds, proper gun introduction, basic obedience, hunting in control and basic retrieving. Basic gun dog training is focused on getting your puppy or young dog off to the right start before negative traits are established.
