WINNING THE HURT 100 | Aravaipa Racing Team | Pete Mortimer

Every year, 130 runners are selected from a pool of many hundreds to run the HURT 100, a 100-mile trail race that takes place in the jungle surrounding Honolulu, Hawaii. Since its first running in 2001, in which only eight runners finished the full course, it has become known as one of the world’s most difficult 100-mile races.

This is the story of Aravaipa Racing Team Member, Pete Mortimer's journey at the 2022 HURT 100.
