Sigur Rós - Popplagið – Oakland, Live, 4-9-17, 1st row, Fox Theater. At ~10:50, Jonsi knocks his mic stand over and it falls on me, lol. The stage light later gets caught up in his guitar's headstock and gets swung around the stage. :P Second night of two sold-out SF Bay Area shows.



Other Tidbits:

For the VIP package, we got a portfolio of 3 screen prints signed by Jonsi, Orri and Georg. The prints appeared to be still images of the video backgrounds used for the performances of Sæglópur, Ný Batterí and Vaka. We also go early entry into the venue, all of which was very nice. Many fans went to both shows and recognized each other from the previous night in Berkeley:

For the North American tour dates of 2017. Sigur Rós said that they will be continuing the experiment begun this year of performing as trio, "eschewing the string, brass, and other auxiliary musicians that have been a hallmark of live performances the past decade. once again they will be touring without a support act, performing two career spanning sets separated by an intermission."
