REV'IT! or FORMA Adventure Motorcycle Boots? I Broke My Leg!

What boots are you wearing and what level of protection do they provide? While they might seem legit, are they proper for the type of riding and the type of falls you might experience. For years I wore the Forma Adventure Boots but as I transitioned into more aggressive dirt riding I was fortunate enough to upgrade to the REV'IT! Expedition GTX boots. I wore these during my travels through Namibia, Africa as well as here in the States where I recently had a wreck and cracked my lower Fibula.

There are many things to go over in this video so I tried to keep it to the point: That being while there are so many variables the boots I was wearing undoubtably prevented a catastrophic injury (versus the boots I used to wear).

This is not meant to be a commercial for REV'IT! but rather me sharing my story, my mistakes and imparting the need for proper gear when out on the trail. Be it the GTX or the Tech 7's, the Leatt 5.5's or any other dedicated boot with minimal flex. You'll see in this video, the Forma boots fold over with almost no effort and that is not good (for the type of riding I was doing).
