End of Life Planning: Do's and Dont's

Описание к видео End of Life Planning: Do's and Dont's

What does it mean to plan for the end of life? Most people think about completing a last will and testament but fewer think about planning for the medical care they would like to receive at the end of life. This module will provide an overview of advance care planning for the end of life. Advance care planning refers to both informal and formal planning for end-of-life care. The importance of each will be discussed and formal means, including a living will and durable power of attorney for health care, will be reviewed in detail. The speaker also presents important do’s and don’ts for end of life planning.

Hosted by Dr. Sara Moorman, Assistant Professor of Sociology at Boston College
