Poland protests: crowds and opposition renew calls for press freedom in parliament

In what has become the biggest political stand-off in Poland in years, opposition MPs have occupied parliament for a second day.

The continued sit-in came as crowds once again gathered to protest against the government's plans to restrict media access to the national assembly.

Thousands rallied in Warsaw and other cities.

In a Televised address, Poland's prime minister branded the opposition's blockade of parliament as scandalous.
