I just watched the newest official trailer for the Amazon TV series of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time, and it looks surprisingly good. This fan trailer is how I used to imagine it, maybe produced by Peter Jackson, with an all rock soundtrack by Nightwish. I would have chosen Saoirise Ronan as Moiraine Damodred, Hikaru Shida as Siuan Sanche, Florian Munteanu as Lan Mandragoran, Johnny Depp as Thom Merrilin, Brad Pitt as Tamlin al'Thor, AnnaSophia Robb as Egwene al'Vere, Shailene Woodley as Nynaeve al'Meara, and Becky Lynch as Elaida a'Roihan. The film clips in this trailer are from Game of Thrones, Legend of the Seeker, Dungeons and Dragons, Lord of the Rings, Troy, 10,000 BC, and Narnia.
