Replacing the traditional single coil Strat bridge pickup on the Player Plus Stratocaster HSS is a Player Plus humbucker. This pickup has a perfect balance of gain and definition, giving it a big, powerful sound. A pair of Player Plus Noiseless Strat pickups in the middle and neck position deliver an iconic Strat tone, bright and responsive, but without the unwanted single coil hum. Complete with a push-pull tone control that activates coil-splitting on the humbucker, the Player Plus Stratocaster HSS is a real tone-machine that can fit perfectly into any style of music.

Familiar feeling and superbly comfortable, the silky satin Modern "C" neck has smooth rolled edges for the ultimate playing experience. Coupled with a 12" radius maple fingerboard sporting 22 medium jumbo frets, this guitar is a breeze to play and projects a bright, articulate tone. The 2-point tremolo gives access to classic vibrato, while locking tuners greatly enhance tuning stability and make string changes quick, easy, and efficient.
