Sonor SQ1 Drum Kit Demo

I recently acquired this gorgeous Sonor SQ1 drum kit a couple weeks ago and finally got to replacing the heads and recording a "proper" video with it! This is by no means a great product demo in any way, but just more of just me messing around and trying to mix the audio to the kit's strengths. Also an excuse to show some double kick progress, mistakes and all. :)
The shells are 100% European birch and for the tuning, I have everything a bit higher than I normally would and also have the kit pretty much wide open except for the snare and kick that have pretty minimal muffling.
The amount of attack is incredible and the amount of sustain is in a sweet spot that just makes you want to go crazy (hence the note soup for 6 and a half minutes).. I had some difficulties deciding on a mix and eventually just went with my gut, but I believe these would sound pretty killer with a more minimalist approach mix-wise as well!
