Ripple Coinbase. According to bloomberg Ripple has offered to loan coinbase 100 million dollars of Ripple XRP for a listing on its exchange. Ripple is on an all-out mission -to obtain that prestigious listing for XRP on two of the top US cryptocurrency exchanges – Gemini and Coinbase

For all the success of Ripple and XRP, their inability to get their hands on the coveted listings may come as a surprise to many. A big potential obstacle may stand in their way – US regulators have advised cryptocurrency exchanges not to accept tokens that potentially could be classified as securities. Worryingly for Ripple, being controlled by a single company, there is genuine concern that this may happen.

According to Bloomberg reports from last year indicate that Ripple made several financial advances – ranging from direct cash payments of 1 million dollars, to a deal to lend Coinbase more than 100 million dollars worth of XRP – to kick start online trading of the digital asset.

How well Ripple performs in 2018 may depend on the final decision by US regulators – If XRP avoids a securities classification we could see a return to the heights seen at the end of 2017
