This video is my first attempt at melting and pouring silver into a delft clay mold using a TOAUTO 3KG Gold Melting Furnace I purchased a while ago. While I have watched several videos on how to use this thing, I still made some mistakes as you will see. One tip I would recommend is to mark your graphite rod where it meets the top of the crucible. This way, you will know when it's touching the bottom of the crucible. Also, the lid on the furnace should stay closed until you're ready to pour.
The second pour was somewhat successful. I have been working on cleaning up the cast (a video of this will be up soon), and it's coming along pretty well.
The cleaned-up cast weighs 17 ounces. It was 18 ounces before trimming and sanding.
This video was shot with a DJI Action 2 camera set to 4k 120fps. It was edited and rendered with Techsmith Camtasia software in 4k 60fps. The opening scene was shot with an Insta360 Go2 set to Pro Video mode.
