Though the name of the beach, Snehatheeram,
may mean “the beach of love” in Malayalam,
this beach is adorned by both couples and families
equally. Not only the beach offers gorgeous
views of the Arabian sea, but it has waterfront parks and children’s
playgrounds as well. The gorgeous beach is located at
a distance of 25 km from the town of Thrissur. The entire area
of the beach is surrounded by a coastal highway that is located
3 km away from the beach. You will be dumbfounded to find
such a clean and well-maintained beach in India. The lush
greenery surrounding the beach is also a welcome change. It
is located quite close to Thalikulam. If you want a few days to
enjoy the beach, you could halt in Thalikulam, where you could
