12 Gauge Shotgun Shell Plug Earrings

I saw some shotgun shells in the bed of a truck, and really liked the look of the brass. I somehow figured they would make some cool looking plug earrings for one of my friends.

This is the quick and dirty on how I made some in about 20 minutes or so. I chucked up a dremel cutting wheel in my drill press to get a consistent cut height. I then used superglue and kicker to glue them together. Next I tripple sealed the gaps with super glue.

Last I buffed the front of the plugs with a chucked up dremel buffing wheel.

This was pretty easy, and pretty fun. These guys end up being 20mm so if you have large gauge holes, give it a go!
