Virtua Fighter is back, but its future still isn't guaranteed. With the lack of single-player content and rollback netcode, its longevity is in jeopardy. On top of that, Sega has admitted that Ultimate Showdown's success will determine the existence of a sequel, causing comparisons to another such instance that didn't end so well.
