Cleaning your ceiling fans is a must for move out cleans and spring cleans. This quick video runs you through how to clean most ceiling fans but focussing on stainless steel ceiling fans – because these look average if you don’t clean them right.

Any ceiling fans that are close to the kitchen will normally catch oil from the air and can tend to be more of a heavy duty clean, due to the grime build up.

The process in this video will have them ship shape for you.

Just remember to use a decent step ladder if you want to clean your ceiling fans properly and safely.

Products I used to clean this ceiling fan:

A dry towel cloth to remove excess dust.

Good old dishwashing liquid with water in a spray.

A wet microfibre cloth.

Jif (cream cleanser) if you need to cut through some grime.

And something to dry it with – a squirt of glass cleaner can also help to dry a stainless steel ceiling fan streak free.
