“Your children are a reflection of you” means more than what you think, & it’s more important to understand if your child is on the autism spectrum! 👀
🚩You can’t expect your child to “calm down” and go with your flow if YOU are frequently operating in a state of angst.
Truth: it’s easier to point out the “wrong” of another person’s behavior. It’s difficult to look at how your own behaviors are affecting those “wrong” behaviors.
It may be hard to hear, but your child’s behavior WON’T change unless YOU change yours.
Our children are sponges. In the first 5-years of their life millions of connections in their brain are developing through their life experiences.
If your child is on the autism spectrum, millions of connections are still developing, just in different ways and on a different timeline.
☝🏾One of the most underrated ways to learn is by watching someone/something & repeating the same/similar behavior at a later time, even if the behavior isn’t imitated right away.
This is called observational learning, and this type of teaching requires minimal effort on your part! 🤯
This is why if you truly want your child’s behavior to change YOU MUST change yours too!
FACT: it isn’t always that simple, but I want to help you understand how it’s actually happening for you, so that you can make the necessary changes that lead to the outcome YOU truly want for you and your child.
Our children are a reflection of us, and if we are seeing something we don’t like in them, we HAVE to take the first look at ourselves.
Another truth: navigating autism is HARD, & it’s harder to do it without support for your entire family.
This is where my support comes in so that you can become more aware of how your own behaviors are affecting your child's & how autism affects your entire family.
With that said, I am so excited to announce that the doors to my 1:1 Coaching Program are finally OPEN!
📩 I only have 3 spots, so Email me directly at [email protected] with the subject line: "1:1 SUPPORT" to claim yours first!
With love,
