Endeavour - Fugue

LMO recently recorded the second film in the new Endeavour series with composer Barrington Pheloung.

Entitled Fugue, this film is directed by Tom Vaughan and produced by Dan McCulloch.

Barrington Pheloung scored for a 17 piece string section with flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and harp. He also conducted LMO which was led by David Juritz.
Operatic excerpts from Verdi's Otello and Delibes's Lakme were also recorded during the session, featuring sopranos Anne de Renais and Kate Bishop.

Matt Slater assisted Barrington with score preparation and the session was engineered by Paul Golding.

The new series of Endeavour started broadcasting April 14, 2013.
