I was in 7th grade that we were asked in class the much dreaded question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

How is a 12-13 year old supposed to know that answer? Some would say how can you choose what you’d like to do with your next 9 decades after just living your first decade. It’s crazy, right?

But I knew the answer since I was 8.

Fashion and design were like love at first sight for me! And I stuck to that dream.

No matter what the world had to say, no matter how much I was challenged: my dream remained constant.

I wanted to build a career in it. And so I did.

My mediums have changed over the years, but something that hasn’t changed is my love for this field.

In the first five years of my career, I did it all: built a fashion brand exhibiting across the world, wrote about fashion for media, became a fashion content creator, styled for ads, worked with 50+ brands AND became India’s first fashion and design YouTuber.

The next half of this decade has been about doing things I love in fashion and design.

And I believe that’s how I’ll always be: constantly evolving and consciously challenging myself by throwing new goals my way!

My only advice to young kids is: YOLO! Do what YOU want to do with your life. And honestly, if I can do it, so can you! 🥹
