Track 14 from his sixteenth solo album “Magic and Loss” released in 1992 copyright Sire Records. This concept album was initially going to be about magic, but when two of Reed’s close friends became terminally ill and eventually died, he expanded the focus to include loss and death. It was mostly well received by critics as another strong album, and was his most successful on the U.K. album chart. Mike Rathke, from the previous album “New York”, continued as the guitarist in Lou’s backup band. He co-wrote several songs and also co-produced the album.
