Have you wondered what job you're going to get after college? Are you struggling to get a job even after your masters or doctorate degree? Kia helps us understand why we college students can't find jobs right away and how we can change that for the future.

Originally from Malaysia, Kia is a Bioengineering PhD candidate and student leader at University of Pittsburgh. In May of 2014, Kia conceived and co-founded a non-profit consulting organization called Fourth River Solutions (4RS), which furnishes students with opportunities to explore the business side of science while providing local start-ups with valuable insights to overcome obstacles and achieve growth. Kia believes experiential learning can transform the way students learn by integrating real-world experiences with academic lessons. He was featured in Nature Careers for his effort on continuing education and was a winner for GPSG Leadership and Service Award 2014.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
