Two Days in Berat, Albania

If you ever find yourself in Albania, the city of Berat should be one of the places that you give "must-see" status. It is a fantastic mixture of historic wonders and modern pleasures. Everything about it, from the Castle of Berat, which is very much alive, to the iconic buildings that give the city its nicknames, will make you glad to be there.

One of two Unesco World Heritage sites in Albania, Berat is a fascinating destination.
