Offroad trail ride to Ramteerth Temple (Shri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Devalaya) in Halshi

Ramteerth Temple is a old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been built by the Pandavas during their exile period.

To reach the temple you can take the NH748 highway from Belgaum which leads to Khanapur city from there you can take the road leading to Nandgad village and follow it till the Halshi village. From the village you will have a board which mentions about the temple and a dirt trail which leads up to a hill. The view from the top is amazing in early mornings or evenings. Best place to witness sunrise or sunset.

Best time to visit the temple - October to May

Important Note - Google Maps doesn't work all the way till the temple so you have to follow the trails or ask any local people about the temple or there is a high possibility of you getting lost. There is also a small shrine from which you can turn right and follow the trail which leads to the mountain top.
