Aghadi Govt Calls For Maharashtra Bandh In Wake Of Lakhimpur Kheri Violence | India Today

In the wake of the killing of four farmers Lakhimpur Kheri district, Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has called a bandh across Maharashtra on Monday.

Bus services were affected in Mumbai, Thane and neighbouring areas. Nine BEST buses in Mumbai were also damaged by unknown persons. Due to bandh, several commuters were left in the lurch, while long queues were seen for autos. The NCP and Shiv Sena workers also took out a protest march in Thane.
