An Old City In Norway | Summer Travel Vlog With Music 2021 | Stavanger

This video is part 2 (Last part) of my summer travel vlog with music 2021 to Stavanger which is an old city in Norway.

Stavanger was officially established as a city in 1125. It is located in Southwestern Norway and is fourth largest city of the country. Oil was discovered near Stavanger in 1969. It is also the city with largest collection of wooden houses in Northern Europe. The battle of Hafrsfjord between 872 and 900 was fought just west of Stavanger at the Hafrsfjord. It played a pivotal role in the unification of Norway. Following its conclusion, King Harald I declared that he was to be the sole ruler of the kingdom of Norway.
