This video was filmed on November 4th, 2023 and features a walking tour of Downingtown, a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Downingtown was settled by colonists in the early 18th century and has a number of historic buildings and structures. Downingtown was incorporated on May 12th, 1859. Downingtown was originally named Milltown due to its number of mills along the East Branch Brandywine Creek. However, around the time of the American Revolution, Milltown became more commonly known as Downingtown after the businessman Thomas Downing.
