Chirag Paswan, while addressing an election rally on Sunday, claimed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be in jail if the LJP comes to power. National president of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Chirag Paswan has refused to field candidates against one part of the NDA alliance in Bihar while opposing the other. The son of former union minister late Ram Vilas Paswan, Chirag Paswan has been vocal in his opposition to JD(U) and its tallest leader, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Without explaining how since the BJP is fighting the Bihar elections allied with the JD(U), Chirag has claimed that there will be a BJP-LJP government in Bihar once the dust settles.
He made the sweeping remarks during an election rally in Dumraon in Bihar's Buxar on Sunday. "That chief minister who is corrupt, anti-youth, destroys Bihar, forces youth to get away [from Bihar]. Should such a chief minister stay chief minister? Such a chief minister should be changed or not?" Chirag Paswan asked during his speech.
