Taking a drive on the section of US Route 12 that runs between I-5 and SR-8 (Grand Mound to Elma) in Washington State. Along the way, we will drive through the communities of Rochester, Oakville, and Malone, the Chehalis Reservation - and past a bit of farmland.

The inspiration for this route was to avoid a construction zone on our usual route home.

You may see a few state route shields instead of US route shields along the way. It is a US route. WSDOT has been known to make a few errors now and then.
