Why Was Escalation Protocol SO AWESOME?! - Destiny 2

Escalation Protocol, Court of Oryx, Archons Forge. All of these have in common one thing, public events turned into a part of the end game! Court of Oryx is where this all started back in the Taken King with many bosses in the rotation. Some of the stand out bosses from the court of oryx were the two Knights, one taken, one hive named Mengoor and Cra'adug. There was the Ogre Krughor, Locker, the wizard and good old Vorloog Those were your tier 1 and two bosses, but the tier 3 bosses were a bit more intense on the mechanics and at the time, really difficult to beat unless you had a group of people running around the court and even then, you’d be at best cutting it close on release of this DLC. There was the fanatic of Crota Kaagor, a wizard that brought a pack of Ogres with one being a servile ogre that dropped Kaagors shield to do damage. Finally, Balwur, a Wizard who applied a damaging field to the entire floor of the Court, except for the area directly under the platform. Those were Court of Oryx, but Archons Forge brought a lot less bosses and a lot more ad clear and cool weapons. But Not Forgotten and Saladins Vigil were really your big winners here! As far as Escalation Protocol went, you had weapons like the Ikelos SG, the Ikelos SR, the Ikelos SMG, and the full protocol gear set. The bosses were: Nur Abath, Crest of Xol, Kathok, Roar of Xol, Damkath, the Mask, Naksud, the Famine, and Litur, Hunger of Xol. All had their own mechanics, but the remaining question really is.. why was the Escalation Protocol so Awesome?
