King Jehoram turned his back on God, leading Judah into idolatry, bloodshed, and spiritual decline. His decisions didn’t just impact his reign—they shaped the character and choices of his family, including his grandson, King Joash. While Joash started well under godly guidance, the seeds of compromise planted by Jehoram’s legacy eventually bore bitter fruit. This episode is a reminder that our influence is never neutral. We are either pointing the next generation toward God—or away from Him. Through Scripture, we’ll examine Jehoram’s tragic example and challenge ourselves to build a legacy of faith, not compromise.
