MEET ZOHRA TEKE
Zohra Teke is not just a successful restaurateur – she’s also a prolific journalist, writer and communications specialist. From a young age she was inspired to reach for her dreams “no matter what life throws at you” and this philosophy, which was instilled in her by her mother, who single-handedly raised her, carries her through her business and home life to this day. She’s travelled and lived across the globe but laid roots in South Africa, her home, where she opened a small Turkish Café at the Pavilion as a nod to her Turkish husband. Zohra is a huge supporter of women in business and lives by the philosophy “Empower others as you grow, don’t give up simply because someone does not believe in your dreams.”
The Pavilion Shopping Centre acknowledges and celebrates Zohra Teke, this Women’s Month as one of the Pav’s Powerful Women.
