The Indian Army has unfoiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector on Wednesday. An army soldier was killed in action during the exchange of fire with terrorists reportedly attempting to infiltrate into India from the Pakistani side. The army said in a statement that it had killed two terrorists in the same area, a few days ago. Search operations are still underway to find the infiltrators. Reports suggested that the infiltration bid could have been carried out with support from Pakistan.
