An active first half of the day with scattered showers and thunderstorms across Central Ohio. After a stormy start, expect drier and cooler weather to take over this afternoon with additional clearing into the evening. Daytime highs will only get into the upper 60s and low 70s.
However, we go right back to the summer feel on Friday, warming up into the low 80s with gusty southwest winds. Some gusts could get up to 30 mph!
The southerly winds will also bring the increased chance of a few showers which could impact some First and 10 high school football games.
The showers become more widespread overnight into early Saturday morning for some of us, but will taper off by midday. This is good news for the Buckeyes game at 3pm, it looks to be bright and cool.
Highs will be around 70 on Saturday and Sunday, and a fair amount of sunshine is expected throughout the weekend.
