Back in 2010, when Mateusz started his Android journey, mobile development looked way different than today. Apps being significantly smaller, often developed by one or two developers, were usually just an addition to the companies' main products, that were mostly web based.

Now, in 2017, the world is different. IG, where Mateusz is working on a mobile trading platform, sees more deals made from mobile than on the web. This being true for various different companies causes mobile teams to be bigger and their work way more critical than on the past.

This obviously increases a complexity of developent, testing, rollout plans and unfortunately potential damages in case your shiny new feature goes south on production.
