Fast reminds me. Time is flying, and so am I! I am practically catching flights every other day! Made my way from Melbourne to Perth to watch our boys in green play against Zimbabwe and the Netherlands! How is it even possible that I’m in Australia and I don't make it to the stadium to support my team? 🇵🇰💚

I’m grateful and overwhelmed with all the love and appreciation that I have received in Melbourne. You guys are the best 🤩🙌🏽

However, it was amazing to see so many Pakistanis from around the world travelling so far to Australia to support their team! This is for you, the spirit of cricket! ✈️

It was heartbreaking to see our team crumble under the pressure against Zimbabwe. I was expecting Pakistan to perform well but it was definitely not our day. However, our boys played exceptionally well against the Netherlands and came back a lot stronger! 💪

Even if Pakistan wins its remaining two matches, it’ll still need a fair bit of luck to qualify for the semi-finals, tomorrow’s encounter between Bangladesh and India is very important from Pakistan’s perspective. Although India are the favourites, we have already seen many upsets happening in this World Cup so far, so the hope is still not lost! Will Shakib al Hasan’s Tigers be able to upset Rohit Sharma’s India, or will it be the rain who’ll win? Only time will tell!!

Matches aside, experiencing cricket at a stadium is a different vibe altogether. While watching international teams playing against each other, we get to meet people from around the world with different cultures and perspectives. It’s heartwarming to see how sports, especially cricket, play a role to promote intercultural exchange and as a result harmony too! 🌍❤️
