If you deadhead it after it completes its first blooming cycle, before it sets seeds, in late July, it will reward you with a fresh wave of blossoms in August. Learn how to deadhead this fragrant member of the Mint family by following a quick and easy technique. Once deadheaded, a feeding of a low nitrogen food will finish the job and then all you have to do is pour some lemonade, add a few leaves of Bee Balm to your glass, and sit back and get ready for the show.
