Remember being a kid? Remember living that time of your life where everything was new to you? A wonder? A mystery? Over time, you developed ideas of what things were at the basic level: namely, that games were fun, and school wasn't. But if you were like most kids, there was one game in particular that stood out to you; one game that taught you more than your teachers and parents could ever teach you: life can be full of unfair bullshit. That unholy grail of fuckness was dubbed "Candy Land."

Now, fast forward years later. A strange little game company called "Archie McPhee" (whose website may not actually exist) puts forward a concept that combines your most hated childhood memory with some of the meatiest meats this side of the meat wagon. Out of this quirky concoction comes "Mr. Bacon's Big Adventure!"

Join Mr. Bacon and his protein pals on a journey through Meatland, crossing the various sectors along the way, such as Mustard Marsh, Hotdog Hideout, Wiener Wasteland, the Sausage Sea, and more! First one to make it to the Great Frying Pan sizzles up a victory! But beware the treacherous Vegan Alley, or else you'll end up right back where you started!

This game combines fun with the fundamentals of cooking, optionally adding a stipulation wherein you eat different types of meat at each juncture you land on. Because we didn't have enough time to gather the necessary accoutrements (and because one of our number is a card carrying vegetarian) we improvised...with cookies, mustard and coleslaw!
