Next-gen Toyota 4RUNNER Hybrid Preview (2024 Launch reported) | What we expect

The Toyota 4Runner, last renewed in 2009, is the brand's oldest model in the U.S. line-up. It's expected to be designed and engineered from the ground up for the sixth generation, and release, if not, be unveiled, in 2024.

The New Toyota 4Runner, expected to be based on the same platform as the new Tacoma (TNGA-F), and should be the first one in its history available as a hybrid. The hybrid powertrain will likely bring big performance and efficiency improvements, allowing outdoorsy customers to have more extreme adventures.

With a more refined interior, enhanced ride quality, and upgraded comfort and connectivity features, the all-new 4Runner (2024 release) can be great for the daily commute, too.
