Hon. Lutamaguzi was our guest today on Sanyuka Morning Express to talk about the election reforms proposed by Mpuuga. Mpuuga's plan to present three bills on electoral reforms worries opposition legislators who feel left out of the process. The lawmakers acknowledge the benefits of some of Mpuuga's proposed amendments, such as the establishment of the Upper House in Parliament, the restoration and strengthening of presidential term limits, the alteration of the female MP election process, and the reduction of MP size. However, they also stress the need to include other opposition proposals to ensure comprehensive reforms.
