In this video you’ll mainly hear only bass & drums from this song. I’ve got several bsscovers from Pino Palladino on my channel. And also this song is a typical Pino bassline with a lot of variations of the maingroove; beautiful slides; pull off; hammer on and melodic lines! Listen for instance to the pull off technique in bar 2, 6 and 8. But most important of all is that he plays notes short or muted in the maingroove. When you look at the maingroove in bar 1 he plays the eight notes e and f# short/muted. In bar 84 he plays (in my opinion) the most beautiful lick of this song. He plays a slide on the third beat; a pull off on the fourth beat and continues with a bended F# which he continues in the first 1,5 beat in the next bar. Really great!!
