BatSense is a mobile payment application built on Stellar and Soroban that introduces an intuitive, gesture-based method for P2P crypto transfers. Inspired by a bat's echolocation, the system remains dormant until the user performs the trigger action. The vision is to make crypto payments instant, secure, and socially engaging. Users initiate a transfer by simply shaking their phone, activating a brief, powerful Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scan (Radar Mode) to discover nearby wallets without needing to type addresses or scan QR codes. The primary technical objectives are to develop the Soroban smart contract to securely map the temporary BLE ID to the user's permanent Stellar Public Key, and to build the React Native Core Motion module to reliably activate the BLE scanner upon this gesture. BatSense uses Stellar's low-cost, high-speed network for instant stablecoin (USDC) settlements, with all transaction fees being absorbed by the app through Transaction Sponsorship, ensuring users experience truly gasless transactions. The project provides a breakthrough combination of physical gesture control and secure, on-chain identity resolution via Soroban, significantly advancing the usability of crypto for daily payments.
