Today we are going to discuss a very important tense in English grammar — Simple Future Tense.
First, let us understand the meaning.
👉 Simple Future Tense is used to talk about actions that will happen in the future.

It expresses decisions, promises, predictions, and plans.

Now let us see the forms of Simple Future Tense.
Form 1: Using “will”
✔️ Subject + will + base verb
Examples:
I will help you.
She will complete her work today.
They will win the match.

👉 Use will for:
Instant decisions
Promises
Predictions
Offers


Form 2: Using “going to”
✔️ Subject + am/is/are + going to + base verb

Examples:
I am going to start a new course.
He is going to buy a car.
It is going to rain.

👉 Use going to for:
Planned actions
Strong predictions based on evidence
Negative Sentences
I will not (won’t) come today.
She is not going to attend the meeting.
Interrogative Sentences
Will you help me?
Are you going to join the class?


Time Expressions Used
🕒 tomorrow, next week, soon, in future, tonight
