LK Chen Tang Heng Dao - What to Expect - 橫刀

It's NOT a jian! The false edge might give it the appearance of a straight sword, but this is a single edge Dao sword. This is the Tang Heng Dao by LK Chen based off of a Tang Dynasty blade in the Shōsō-in in Nara, Japan, and real Tang Dynasty fittings LK was able to get a hold of. I am typically used to the high quality of LK Chen swords, but was surprised with this one in particular. It won me over, in both form and function. It is just as beautiful of a sword to look at as it is to use in forms practice and in cutting applications. There are many reviews raving about this sword online, and after my experience with this sword it is no surprise that I found it to be just as good as everyone says.
